CAREER SERVICES
Our goal is to place students not just in a job, but in a job that suits them. From the beginning, we’ll help you decide what part of the culinary world is the best for you. Are you a fine-dining person? Resorts? Catering? The options are extensive and we can help you decide where you want to focus your career.
Our placement department proactively works with graduates to identify employment opportunities, secure and schedule interviews with employers, and follow up to negotiate starting salaries.
The placement department’s help doesn’t only start after graduation. As you approach your graduation day, our placement advisors can begin to work with you to prepare for the transition from student to professional by:
• Hosting mock interviews to practice answering those tricky questions
• Assisting with creating a resume that stands out
• Assisting in identifying potential employers
• Polishing your negotiating skills for when you get the job offer
Best of all, these services are at no additional cost to students, recent graduates, and alumni.
