CULINARY ARTS EXTERNSHIP

When it comes to the culinary industry, having great technique and real-world experience is critical. During the 20-month program, you will spend time in our kitchens every day learning and practicing your craft.  You also will experience an 8-week externship to practice and polish your skills in the pressure of a real-world setting.

Externships are designed to provide you with industry experience in a fast-paced kitchen, to make valuable culinary contacts, and to make you more competitive for future job opportunities.

You might complete your externship for:
-Fine dining restaurants
-Catering businesses
-Food service companies
-Hospitality and travel companies, such as resorts or casinos

Your chef instructors and the career placement department will be able to help you identify all of the different career options available and where your strengths fall.
